The Long Island Valentine’s Day Guide
LOVE IS IN THE AIR AT IAQUINTA REAL ESTATE! Whether you’re in a relationship, single, have kids or don’t, Long Island has everything you need to have the perfect weekend celebrating LOVE. Keep reading for Iaquinta Real Estate Approved Valentine’s Day things to do!
RESTAURANTS
If you are the type of person who lives for a fancy dinner, your best bet on Long Island is to go to Teller's, Insignia, Blackstone, Opus, Rare650, Prime, or Brasserie!


THE WINERIES
If you’d like to do something less formal than a sit down dinner, a wine tour with Long Island Winery Limo is perfect for you. Don’t forget to stop at Sparkling Pointe for their Valentine's Day Sparkling Wine and Cupcake Pairing. If you would like to extend your Valentine’s Day celebrations, Sannino Vineyard offers a Chocolate and Wine Pairing Experience on Sunday the 15th.
Wölffer Estate offers a Valentine's Day Guided Tasting for Two for you and your loved one. If you’re single, Wölffer Estate also offers a Valentine's Sip and Paint Singles Edition, where you can enjoy a complimentary glass of Rosé and paint a Valentine’s card and a Galentine's Charm Workshop for the girls on the Thursday before.
Bedell Cellars also offers a Valentine's Day Flight with NoFo DoCo where you can enjoy local wine and flight of 3 fresh local donuts. Bedell also offers a Galentine's Day Paint & Sip for the Friday before!
Lastly but certainly not least, Macari Vineyards offers an experience called Crafted with Love.

MIX AND MATCH
Other fun things you can do, whether it’s one or all, is to do a Valentine’s Donut & Lunch Bake & Dine at Babylon Mercantile, Chocolate and Wine Tasting Experience at the Long Island Aquarium in Riverhead, go old school and roller skate at Roller Skating in Seaford, puppy yoga at The Puppy Spherein Garden City, experience the viral Paint your Partner Valentine’s Night trend at The Color Palette in Lindenhurst, attend a comedy show at Governor's in Levittown, go to the spa and choose from the Couples Serenity Retreat, Sweetheart’s Bliss, or Just the Two of Us packages at Island Salt and Spa in Sayville, attend a floral workshop with brunch at Harry & David in Huntington, or even book a private igloo dinner experience at The Historic Milleridge Inn in Jericho!

GALENTINE’S
At Olive It Boutique in Merrick, a local floral and candy shop, you can take a flower arranging class.
At The Goose Shop in Long Beach, Too Goodies Candy and BeCharmed Jewlery are doing a Galentine’s Day pop up (see below)!
For all of the yogis and wine enthusiasts, The Nesting Place is hosting a Galentine’s Sip and Flow with Jamie.
If you’re looking for something unique, Nest on Main is hosting Sip & Script for a fun night of calligraphy for beginners with the serving of light refreshments and wine. Bright Eye Beer Co. of Long Beach is also hosting Sip & Script where you can learn calligraphy and drink beer at this independent, family-owned brewery in one of Long Island’s favorite towns.
Last but most certainly not least, Back in Time Vintage Home Decor in Farmingdale is offering a Galentine’s Gathering where girls can shop antiques and a charm bar with Simply Sage Boutique all while enjoying a complementary glass of champagne and getting a free raffle entry with each purchase!

HONORARY MENTIONS
For all of the single men… don’t think we forgot about you! Daisy’s Nashville Lounge in Patchogue is hosting their Singles Party on Valentine’s Day at 8pm!

FOR THE KIDS
As you all know, one of the most important things as a parent is making sure your kids feel loved and Valentine’s Day is no exception.
If you are near Cold Spring Harbor, the Cold Spring Harbor Fish Hatchery & Aquarium is hosting a Craft & Card Making Station where kids can make cards for their favorite hatchery animal and the hatchery will display it on their tanks.
If you are near Farmingdale and have a child between the ages of 9 months and 5 years old, the Schoolhouse Play & Café is hosting their Cupid's Cozy PJ Play Party. Schoolhouse is also having a Valentine’s themed author event , "Love at First Sauce", where children ages 2-4 can come to a live reading followed by interactive and Valentine’s themed activities and open play.
At Sippy Cups Cafe in Seaford, Elmo is coming to town to spread the love! Kids can come meet Elmo and decorate their own cookies while parents can enjoy a cup of coffee and relax (see below). Also in Seaford, at More Than Play, is the Tiny Songbirds event “Tiny LOVE Birds”! Here, kids ages 0-5 can attend a Valentine’s themed music class.
At My Play Space in Babylon, kids can come meet Mickey and Minnie for a very special Valentine’s Day morning! Also Disney themed, at Little Laughs Playtime in Commack, kids are able to come decorate sugar cookies and do Valentine’s themed crafts while also meeting Minnie Mouse!
Play à La Mode in East Setauket is hosting Little Dough Co. where kids are able to come make a play dough pizza and eat real pizza, followed by a tattoo booth, Valentine’s themed storytime, and open play.
And if you’re looking for something quick, the Long Island Children’s Museum has got you covered because they are hosting 10-minute drop-in activities where kids can create a Sailor's Valentine with seashells or Sweetheart Necklaces!
